With the development of science and technology, fiber laser welding machines have become standard equipment for some high-end industrial production and processing enterprises. As precision equipment, machinery must be maintained with extra care. We all know that the service life is closely related to its daily maintenance work. So how should we maintain the laser welding machine during its use? Today I will give you four suggestions for daily maintenance and maintenance of laser welding machines:
1. Equipment cleaning
Before and after each work, clean the environment first to make the ground dry and clean. Then clean the laser welding machine equipment, including the outer surface of the chassis, observation system, work surface, etc., should be free of debris and clean. Protective lenses need to be kept clean.
2. Cooling check
1) The main maintenance of the cooling system is to regularly check the quality of the cooling water. If the water quality becomes poor, turbid, or the transparency becomes poor, new water should be replaced in time. Regularly check the amount of water stored in the water tank. If the amount of water stored is insufficient, add it in time. It is recommended to use distilled or purified water for this system.
2) Regularly check whether there is water leakage at each water pipe interface, and tighten the screws if there is water leakage. If water still leaks after tightening the screws, carefully check the rubber ring. If it has failed, replace it with a spare rubber ring.
3. Check the optical path components of the laser welding machine
In order to ensure that the laser of the laser welding machine is always in normal working condition, after continuous operation or when it is stopped for a period of time, the components in the optical path such as the protective glass should be inspected before starting the machine to make sure that the optical components are not contaminated, and if there is contamination, It should be processed in time to ensure that the optical components will not be damaged under strong laser irradiation.
4. Check and adjust the laser source
Equipment operators can often use black paper to check the laser output spot. Once the spot is found to be uneven or the energy is reduced, the resonant cavity of the laser should be adjusted in time to ensure the beam quality of the laser output. Debugging operators must have common sense of laser safety protection and must wear special laser protective glasses during work. Laser adjustment must be performed by specially trained personnel, otherwise damage to other components on the optical path may occur due to laser misalignment or polarization.
The above are four suggestions for daily maintenance of laser welding machines to extend the life of the machine. In fact, good machines, like people, need maintenance and upkeep. I hope these suggestions will be helpful in guiding you in your work.
